Based on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi at night, you will be met and transferred to Ibis Styles Westlands Hotel for one night, bed and breakfast.
Ibis Styles Hotel has spacious rooms with a rooftop bar and restaurant, located in the heart of the dynamic Westlands neighbourhood of Nairobi.
Meal Plan – Day 1: Drinking water
You will be picked up after breakfast by our professional safari guide/driver at 09.00am who will be with you throughout your safari.
Proceed to Giraffe centre for an encounter with these magnificent animals. This conservation centre provides a close-up encounter with giraffes, allowing visitors to feed these gentle giants directly from their hands.
We then proceed to Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of Danish author Karen Blixen, famous for her memoir "Out of Africa", which chronicles her life owning a coffee plantation in Kenya. You can explore the house, gardens, and learn about the history of the coffee plantation.
We will make a stop for lunch and depart for Lake Naivasha in the afternoon for a stay at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, making a stop along the way to admire the spectacular view across the Great Rift Valley from the top of the escarpment, arriving for relaxation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Meal Plan – Day 2: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Located along the pretty southern lakeshore. Rooms here are large and brightly coloured with safari accents and wrought iron furniture. The expansive grounds are a fine place to relax amid the lawn and trees. Amenities include restaurant, bar, gymnasium, games room, massage centre and gift shop.
After breakfast, a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to experience this stunning lake, with a fabulous view of Mount Longonot, an extinct volcano. View the spectacular birdlife and enormous hippos that populate this lake. Cross to Crescent Island for a morning's walk with the giraffe, zebra and wildebeest who live on the island. Crescent Island Sanctuary is one of the few places you can walk among wild animals. The absence of predators makes it safe to roam, you are certain to trek by diverse herds of wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, gazelles and the resident family of Giraffe's
Your boatman will wait until you are ready to return to the mainland.
Have lunch at Simba Lodge and a chance to relax before being transferred to Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary for a late afternoon game drive. Later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan – Day 3: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast proceed to Hell's Gate National Park. Explore the park's dramatic landscapes, including towering cliffs, volcanic formations, and steaming geothermal features.
Hike or opt for a bike ride through the park, enjoying the freedom to explore at your own pace.
Later proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving over lunchtime. Check into Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge and late proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meal plan – Day 4: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
You can split the day into morning and evening game drives or take a packed lunch and remain in the park all day. Lake Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya's most diverse flora, fauna and wildlife and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos. It is a bird lovers paradise with more than 450 species being recorded as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. 100 endangered Rhinos both black and white, Rothschilds giraffe, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbucks and many more. The landscape ranges from sweeping grasslands bordering the lake to rocky cliffs and woodland. The park protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa.
Dinner and overnight at your safari lodge
Meal plan day 5: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Stay in a pretty tree-filled valley and get the best of all possible worlds inside Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you're in the heart of the park and close to any wildlife action, but you're also away from the crowds. The lodge has excellent facilities, including classically styled safari rooms, a good restaurant, bar and swimming pool with views from the terrace.
After an early breakfast depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will have a stopover at Narok Town to grab a coffee at Sahara Coffee House. Later proceed to Zebra Plains Mara Camp located below the Oldonyo Loip Ridge with views across the open plains.
In the afternoon a visit to a Maasai Village which offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture heritage of the Maasai people. These nomadic warriors have lived in the region for centuries, maintaining their traditional way of life amidst the vast savanna. Later return to your safari camp for dinner and overnight.
Meal plan day 6: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Zebra Plains Mara Camp offers an unforgettable safari experience with stylish tents, a refreshing swimming pool, and a cozy bar perfect for unwinding. The dining is among the finest in the region, and best of all, you're just a short drive from some of Kenya's most spectacular wildlife viewing.
Spend the days in the Maasai Mara. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park, or you can choose to have an early morning and late afternoon game drives. Roll down the windows or stand up through the customised pop-up roof hatch and enjoy unhindered 360 views and the possibility of what lies ahead.
The Maasai Mara is Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino & Buffalo. The park is also known for providing excellent predator sightings in the natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lions, cheetahs and leopards. You will also see lots of elephants, Maasai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena and more.
Meal plan day 7 & 8: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast depart Maasai Mara for Nairobi by road. Following lunch, a visit to the Kazuri Beads Workshop where you will learn everything there is to know about making ceramic beads. Sales from the shop support the local craftswomen. Later you will be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home, brining an end to what could be a lifetime experience under the Kenyan blue skies.

Close to where the city of Nakuru ends and Lake Nakuru National Park begins, Lake Nakuru Flamingo Resort & Spa promises you simple accommodation in a range of sizes and styles. Onsite you'll find a swimming pool, a curio shop and a restaurant serving buffet-style meals. But it's the proximity to the park that you'll most appreciate.
Drunken Elephant Mara is set within a natural forest 2km from the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. All tents are en-suite ensuring the luxury of home 'safari style'. The hot water is heated over a log fire connected to your bathroom for then you want to enjoy a shower.
